He is back home in Australia now after a short stay in New Zealand through 2008 with his breeder Carolyn Cederman. He gained his NZ title in just 4 week-ends of showing and has come home with his NZ Grand Champion title. In NZ the requirements for a Grand Champion title is a minimum of 3 Best in Shows (under 3 different judges) and a minimum of 50 Challenges at All Breeds Shows. Haka way passed this including Best in Shows at Gundog & Setter Speciality Shows. Haka is what Irish Setters are all about and nothing can be said to match seeing this boy in the flesh, pumping around the ring with his powerful and effortless Reach & Drive. Haka is a Multi Best in Show Winner(Aust & New Zealand) at All Breeds & Speciality Shows; Multi R/U Best in Show & Multi Group Winner. He has taken just so many In Show awards along the way too. Haka and our daughter Miranda make a beautiful team in the ring and the bond between them has never gone, they just float around the ring together. *****Haka gained his Australian Grand Champion Title at Maryborough 03/01/2010, he is now the 1st Irish Setter to hold a New Zealand Grand Champion Title and an Australian Grand Champion Title and at just 4 years of age!!!!
